This policy explains how subscriptions to MadhyamConnect can be cancelled and when refunds apply. It is written for transparency in line with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
1. Scope
This policy covers paid subscription plans for MadhyamConnect. The free plan involves no payment and is not affected by it. Plan prices, inclusions and taxes are shown clearly before you pay.
2. Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel a paid plan at any time from your workspace settings or by writing to us. On cancellation, your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period, after which it stops renewing and your workspace moves to the free plan.
3. When refunds apply
- New subscriptions — if you cancel within 7 days of your first payment and have not made substantial use of the paid features, you may request a full refund.
- Renewals — monthly renewals are generally non-refundable once the new period has begun; annual renewals may be refunded on a pro-rata basis for the unused full months, at our discretion.
- Service failure — if a paid feature is unavailable for a sustained period due to a fault on our side, we will extend your plan or refund the affected period.
4. What is not refundable
One-time setup, onboarding or add-on fees, and periods already used, are non-refundable. Amounts payable to third parties on your behalf (for example, messaging or verification charges you consumed) are non-refundable.
5. How refunds are made
Approved refunds are made to the original payment method, typically within 7–10 business days after approval, subject to your bank or payment provider's timelines. We do not charge a cancellation penalty.
6. Failed or duplicate payments
If you are charged twice or a payment fails after money leaves your account, contact us with the details and we will verify and refund any duplicate or erroneous charge promptly.
7. How to reach us
